My name is Christine, and I’m the owner of oh my dog. It’s always been my dream to work with animals in a fun and interactive way. So, in the autumn of 2003, I left a career in advertising to start a dog walking service. Little did I know the effect it would have on my life, the lives of so many dogs and the path it would take me on.
Needless to say, I’ve never looked back.
Experienced, pet first-aid certified, fully bonded and insured, you can be confident that your pet is in good hands. I’m also a member of the Toronto Dog Walkers Association, a group of professionals committed to setting and maintaining standards of professionalism in the pet care industry. In addition to volunteering for various reputable animal groups, I also dedicate much of my free time aiding in searches for lost dogs, often with great success.
I believe in humane, positive reinforcement training and use these techniques to help ease each dog into our group and into a routine. With two dogs of my own, I understand the need for exceptional pet care and what’s involved in earning your trust. When your dog is in my care, they’re treated like one of my own and safety will always come first. Dog walking is no small part of my life and it’s not a hobby; I’m dedicated to this full time and I love it.
Inspired by cooking for my own dog, I wanted to teach others how to provide balanced, home cooked meals for their dogs, so I began studying canine nutrition. Now officially certified in the subject, I’ve witnessed the positive impact of feeding a fresh diet. There is no denying the benefits of real food for dogs.
